Engineering Swing Dancing Event When: Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 8 pm
Where: Illini Room C in the Union Come out for a night of dancing! It's the perfect time to learn some new dance moves! The Swing Society will be teaching an hour long beginner's lesson. Sign you and your partner up below to reserve your spot because space is limited. Where: Alice Campbell Alumni Center It is that time of year again to recognize the leadership, excellence in character, and exceptional contribution of the most outstanding students in the College of Engineering! The Knights of 2008 have been selected and will be knighted at this traditional ceremony. The evening will begin with a social period at 6:00 p.m. (including light hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar), followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. After dinner there will be the presentation of the EOH Awards and the Knighting Ceremony. The evening will end with dancing to the Gene Trimble Band. Formal attire is requested, although a tuxedo is not required for men. ____________________________________________________ Illini Hockey Game When: Friday, February 22, 2008 at 7 pm
Where: UI Ice Arena Come out and watch the Illini hockey team play against Adrian College! Tickets are free, so sign-up soon before they are gone! If you are hosting a high school student for SITE this is a great Friday night activity! Charity Golf Scramble When: Sunday, September 30, 2007 Engineering Council is hosting a Charity Golf Tournament at the U of I Orange Course. 3-4 people are allowed per team. Green fees and food will be provided. The only fee is $13 per person for use of the carts. First, second and third place winners get $400, $200, and $100 donated to the charity of your choice. We will also have other contests in which you can win gift certificates. You don't need to be an expert to sign up.
